Alexa Saxon was born and raised in the Los Angeles area and has a BA in International Relations from Stanford University and a JD from Boalt Hall School of Law, UC Berkeley. She has lived in Encinitas for over 29 years and worked as a Realtor at Distinctive Homes CA since 2010. Alexa is our Senior Realtor. Her depth of understanding on contracting and real estate law has been valuable to our team members and clients. Alexa has worked for a variety of clients and in a variety of transactions: first-time home buyers, relocation, equestrian estates, short sales, 1031 exchanges, move-up buyers, long-term rental investors, fix and flip investors, second home buyers, military clients, etc. She has a passion for fixers and helps clients redesign/remodel homes so that buyers can maximize "sweat-equity" and sellers can optimize the sale price of their home. Alexa was named "2021 Realtor of the Year" in the North County, Boutique Brokerage category by the San Diego Association of Realtors.

When she isn't showing homes, she enjoys traveling with her husband, dancing Argentine Tango, taking Tap Dance classes, and tending her backyard orchard, but she adores her adult children, rescue dogs, and horses even more! Among her quirks is a love of good food alongside a hatred for cooking.
